Marketplace model. LegalHusk operates an online technology marketplace where Clients and independent Professionals meet, communicate, form direct engagements, and work toward the successful completion of Professional Services. LegalHusk facilitates marketplace access, administrative workflows, communications, records, support, and payment administration through third party providers. LegalHusk does not provide Professional Services, is not a law firm, does not employ or supervise Professionals, is not a party to Client and Professional engagements, and does not guarantee any legal, financial, commercial, or other result.

Review principle. Reviews must reflect a genuine experience. LegalHusk does not require positive sentiment, does not sell favorable reviews, and does not prohibit an honest opinion merely because it is critical.

1. Scope

This Policy governs ratings, written reviews, Professional responses, testimonials, endorsements, incentives, verification labels, moderation, ranking use, and appeals on LegalHusk.

It applies to Clients, Professionals, representatives, staff, affiliates, and any person who submits, solicits, responds to, or influences review content.

2. Eligibility to Review

A person may review only a genuine firsthand experience with the Professional or Platform. LegalHusk may limit reviews to verified accounts or completed, cancelled, or otherwise recorded Orders.

A person may not review a competitor, former employer, opposing party, unrelated person, or service that the reviewer did not experience. An authorized organization representative may review an organization experience if the relationship is disclosed where material.

3. Verified Review Label

LegalHusk may label a review verified when it is linked to a recorded Order and the reviewer used the associated account. The label confirms the transaction link only. It does not confirm every factual statement, legal conclusion, identity outside the account, work quality, or outcome.

LegalHusk may display whether an Order was completed, cancelled, or refunded when relevant and lawful. It will not alter the review's sentiment.

4. Content Standards

A review should be specific, relevant, truthful, and based on the reviewer's experience. It may address communication, timeliness, clarity, professionalism, scope, delivery, Platform administration, or other firsthand matters.

A review must not contain:

  • fabricated experience, false material fact, impersonation, or manipulated evidence;
  • threats, harassment, hate, discrimination, obscenity, extortion, or retaliation;
  • full names or identifying details of children, witnesses, opposing parties, victims, or unrelated persons;
  • privileged, confidential, sealed, protected, or unlawfully obtained information;
  • government identifiers, financial account data, health records, private addresses, credentials, passwords, or other sensitive data;
  • malware, spam, unrelated promotion, repeated content, or links used for abuse;
  • a demand for money, free work, or another benefit in exchange for changing or removing a review; or
  • a legal conclusion presented as an official finding when no competent authority made it.

5. Confidentiality and Privilege

Legal matters often involve duties that prevent a Professional from fully responding in public. A Client should not disclose privileged strategy, confidential documents, settlement details, protected identities, or information that could harm the matter.

A Professional response must not reveal information relating to a representation merely to defend reputation, except where applicable law and professional rules clearly permit disclosure. A response should ordinarily state that confidentiality limits the response and invite use of a private complaint channel.

LegalHusk may redact or remove content to protect privacy, confidentiality, privilege, safety, or legal process. The reviewer may be invited to submit a revised version.

6. Incentives and Solicitation

A User may request an honest review, but may not require a favorable rating or sentiment. Compensation, discount, refund, credit, free service, contest entry, or other incentive must never be conditioned expressly or implicitly on a positive or negative review.

If LegalHusk permits a neutral incentive for any honest review, the incentive must be offered without regard to sentiment and clearly disclosed with the review where required. LegalHusk may prohibit incentives entirely for particular services or jurisdictions.

Professionals may not selectively solicit reviews only from Clients expected to be positive if doing so makes the displayed review picture misleading.

7. Prohibited Manipulation

Users must not create or purchase fake accounts or reviews; review their own listing without clear authorization and disclosure; arrange reciprocal reviews; use staff, family, agents, or contractors to conceal a relationship; threaten a person for a review; submit mass generated reviews; or manipulate rating signals.

Users must not report a review solely because it is negative, pressure LegalHusk to suppress lawful criticism, or use confidentiality language to prohibit an honest review. A settlement may protect genuinely confidential terms but must not unlawfully restrict protected consumer speech or regulator reporting.

8. Professional Responses

A Professional may provide one professional response focused on process and service improvement. The response must be truthful, proportionate, nonretaliatory, and confidentiality safe.

LegalHusk may limit or remove a response that threatens the reviewer, reveals matter information, disputes personal facts excessively, advertises unrelated services, or creates legal or safety risk. The Complaints Policy is the correct channel for evidence and detailed dispute administration.

9. Moderation Grounds

LegalHusk may retain, label, limit, redact, remove, or decline review content based on authenticity, relevance, privacy, confidentiality, illegality, threats, discrimination, manipulation, intellectual property, Platform integrity, or a lawful order.

LegalHusk will not remove a review merely because it is unfavorable, lowers a rating, alleges poor service, or is disputed. When a factual disagreement cannot be resolved from objective Platform records, LegalHusk may preserve the review and response unless another policy ground applies.

10. Moderation Process

LegalHusk may use automated signals and human review. It may request an Order identifier, account verification, evidence of the experience, consent to redact, or clarification. Automated tools do not make final legal findings.

Where required and reasonably practicable, LegalHusk will provide a statement of reasons for material moderation. Immediate restriction may occur for credible privacy, safety, illegality, or manipulation risk.

11. Appeals

The author or affected Professional may request review within fourteen calendar days by identifying the review, decision, factual error, policy basis, and requested result. A different reviewer should consider the appeal where practicable.

LegalHusk may affirm, revise, or reverse the decision. Repeated requests without new information may be closed. Mandatory legal complaint and appeal rights remain available.

12. Ratings and Ranking

LegalHusk may calculate ratings from eligible reviews and may apply safeguards against fraud, duplication, recency distortion, or manipulation. LegalHusk may explain material ranking factors in its Platform disclosures.

A rating is opinion based information and not a guarantee, credential, legal recommendation, or prediction. Clients should consider official credentials, jurisdiction, scope, experience, availability, insurance, and direct communication.

13. Promotional Use

LegalHusk may display public reviews and ratings on the Platform as allowed by the Terms. Separate consent or disclosure will be obtained where law requires use in advertising or outside the context in which the review was submitted.

LegalHusk will not materially alter the sentiment, remove a qualification that changes meaning, or present an atypical result as typical without an appropriate disclosure.

14. Reports to Authorities and Legal Process

Nothing in this Policy prevents a report to a regulator, court, consumer authority, privacy authority, law enforcement body, or insurer. LegalHusk may preserve or disclose review records in response to valid legal process or as otherwise permitted by the Privacy Notice and law.

15. Enforcement

Violation may result in warning, review removal, loss of rating privileges, ranking adjustment based on legitimate integrity signals, account restriction, suspension, termination, payment review, evidence preservation, or reporting where lawful.

LegalHusk will apply measures proportionately based on seriousness, intent, recurrence, harm, evidence, and legal obligations.

16. Contact

Report a review concern through the available review control or by email to [email protected]. Identify the review and explain the specific policy concern without including unnecessary sensitive matter information.
